Trilight Optics (Malaysia) Hiring! Full Time Finance Officer in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading optics company, Trilight Optics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, as a Finance Officer based in Perai, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and supporting the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts

2. Handle full set of accounts

3. Monitor accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

4. Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring

5. Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting

6. Ensure timely closing of monthly and yearly accounts

7. Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors

8. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations

9. Process SST/GST/tax submissions

10. Monitor company expenses and cost control

11. Support payroll and payment processing

12. Maintain proper financial documentation and filing

13. Assist management with financial analysis and reporting

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting

3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

4. Experience in handling full set of accounts and month-end closing

5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

6. Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

7. Able to work independently and meet deadlines

8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy

9. Good communication and interpersonal skills
