The Process Manager is responsible for the design, rollout, and optimization of global Supplier Information Management (SIM) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes across Munich Re. The role ensuresadherence to the Coupa global core model, safeguards compliance through global standards, and maintains reliable service delivery for all Coupa-active business units.
Key duties involve leading supplier and stakeholder awareness initiatives and delivering KPI-driven insights to Quarterly Business Reviews with CFO functions.
This is a fixed-term contract for 1.5 years.
Your Role:
- Accountable for designing, implementing, and optimizing global SIM/P2P processes in line with the global SIM/P2P strategy
- Lead Coupa rollouts for SIM/P2P processes and solve complex cross-regional challenges, balancing compliance requirements, operational efficiency, and user experience for 7,000+ users across 50+ business units
- Anticipate issues in process adoption, identify process weaknesses (e.g., catalogue gaps, tail spend inefficiencies), and implement solutions (e.g., P-Cards, VCC, guided buying) with measurable improvement
- Manage external providers (onshore/offshore) to ensure effective supplier enablement, data maintenance, and transactional services
- Drive awareness and enablement programs to strengthen adoption of standards
- Translate KPI insights into actionable improvements to report in Quarterly Business Reviews with CFO functions
Your Profile:
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 2–5 years of professional experience in procurement, consulting, or process management
- In-depth knowledge of P2P/SIM processes and related operational frameworks
- Experience with digital procurement platforms (ideally Coupa, SAP)
- Project management experience (e.g., global rollouts, training)
- Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a global context
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions (Sourcing, Accounting, Risk, IT) and coordinate with providers (onshore/offshore)
- Professional proficiency in English (German language skills are an advantage)
- Ability to travel occasionally, as required for the role, and operate in a global matrix environment
