As Patron Events & Programming Manager, you will be the visionary and operational architect behind our annual event calendar and decorative setups. You will ideate, curate, and deliver exclusive events spanning tennis and golf masterclasses, culinary partnerships, wellness retreats, family and social programming. This position requires a blend of creative flair, commercial acumen, and hands-on hospitality delivery to maximize Patron engagement, elevate brand prestige, and achieve revenue objectives.
What You Will Do
1. Event Curation & Creative Direction

Lead the ideation and curation of a comprehensive, multi-pillar monthly Patron event calendar balancing sports, fine dining, wellness, and multi-generational family activities.

Monitor international luxury lifestyle, sports, and cultural trends to introduce fresh concepts tailored to our private retreat setting.

Leverage industry contacts, visiting master coaches, wellness practitioners, and brand partners to secure exclusive collaborations.

Partner with internal stakeholders to engage well-connected Patrons and mobilize their networks for unique talent bookings.
2. Operational Planning & Cross-Functional Execution

Supervise the end-to-end execution of all events and seasonal decorations, from concept development and venue allocation to comprehensive run-of-show schedules.

Negotiate commercially viable terms, service levels, and agreements with external talent, suppliers, and agencies.

Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage and Culinary teams to design event menus, bespoke tastings, and beverage pairings.

Draft clear standard operating briefs for Front Office, Banquet Operations, Sports Development & Education (SDE), Engineering, and Security to guarantee seamless onsite delivery.
3. Commercial Rigor & Budget Governance

Build and manage individual event P&Ls, setting participation fees, minimum spend commitments, and cost controls.

Formulate business cases and return-on-investment proposals for signature, high-capital events for executive review and sign-off.

Identify and capture cross-department commercial opportunities, driving villa bookings, private dining reservations, and coaching academy enrollments.
4. Onsite Hosting & Patron Relations

Oversee onsite staging, visual presentation, and service delivery to ensure every event adheres to our luxury standards.

Act as the primary onsite host, building rapport with Patrons, monitoring participation, and gathering qualitative feedback.

Produce post-event executive summaries detailing financial performance, attendance demographics, satisfaction scores, and operational recommendations.
5. Private Communications & Digital Visibility

Coordinate with the Communications and Patron Experience team to market events via the HKGTA mobile app, member portal, EDMs, and discrete onsite collateral.

Manage the timely archiving and publishing of event recaps, photography, and video assets to closed Patron digital platforms.

Curate selective external brand storytelling and institutional highlights while strictly safeguarding Patron confidentiality.
What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Communications, or a related discipline.

6+ years of progressive event planning and lifestyle programming experience within private members' clubs, five-star luxury resorts, or ultra-luxury brand environments.

Proven experience managing events with full P&L accountability, budget controls, and supplier negotiations.

Experience delivering events for high-net-worth individuals, sports enthusiasts, and multi-generational families.

An active, high-level professional network spanning sports, wellness, gastronomy, luxury retail, and arts/entertainment across Hong Kong and the region.

Exceptional organizational capabilities with a proven track record of managing multiple event timelines concurrently.

Natural charisma, emotional intelligence, and executive presence required to interact comfortably with discerning Patrons and leadership.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays, to oversee live event executions.
