Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Support project execution by managing contract requirements, coordinating site activities, ensuring quality and compliance, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to deliver successful M&E and construction projects.

Responsibilities

Interpret contract requirements and M&E specifications to monitor project progress and ensure compliance

Coordinate site activities with consultants, builders, and contractors to maintain smooth operations

Inspect workmanship to verify it meets project standards and quality requirements

Collaborate with support teams to facilitate timely and efficient project delivery

Lead project meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve operational issues

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and prepare management reports

Prepare and submit project, as-built, and related drawings to clients accurately and on time

Oversee site adherence to safety and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment

Conduct testing and commissioning activities to validate project completion and functionality

Evaluate and select qualified suppliers and subcontractors based on project needs and criteria

Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with consultants, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to optimize project costs

Measure completed work accurately to support periodic progress payments and client billings

Resolve project issues through negotiation during execution phases to maintain project scope and schedule

Advise on contractual claims to effectively manage project scope and risks

Assist in preparing tender and contract documentation to support procurement processes

Perform ad hoc assignments as required to support overall project objectives and deadlines

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience, preferably in construction-related projects

Knowledge of Quantity Surveying or Structural Engineering concepts

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders

Willingness to work beyond normal hours and travel to work sites as project demands require

Ability to commence work on short notice to meet project timelines
