University Of Malaya Hiring! Full Time Graduate Research Assistant in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Photonics Research Centre, Universiti Malaya is looking for potential Master and PhD students to pursue their studies in various photonics sectors.

Requirements:

• Topic : Optical Fiber Sensors for Geotechnical Applications / Optical Fiber Sensors For Grid Resilience and Green Technology
• Successful candidates MUST register for FULL TIME Master / PhD program with Universiti Malaya upon appointment. The minimum duration of research is 12 months for Master and 24 months for PhD.
• Highly interested in fiber optics technology.
• Willing to learn new skills, hardworking, and proactive.
• Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree (preferably Physics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/equivalent)
• There is no minimum CGPA requirement.
• Bachelor's degree holders with a CGPA above 3.70 are most welcome to apply for the PhD program directly.
• An appointment as a graduate research assistant would qualify you for tuition fee exemption.
• A monthly stipend will be provided on top of tuition fee exemption (RM 1,500)
• Expected start date: Negotiable
