What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Perform general ultrasound examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Ensure proper patient preparation and positioning prior to imaging procedures
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical review
- Maintain complete, accurate and timely documentation of scans and findings
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct basic equipment checks, maintain the ultrasound room and promptly report technical or equipment issues.
- Deliver professional, compassionate and patient-centred care in a fast-paced health screening environment.
The Experience and Expertise You’ll Bring
- A recognised qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
- Relevant clinical experience in ultrasound imaging (health screening experience preferred)
- Accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council or eligible for registration
- Competent in performing a range of general ultrasound scans independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced screening environment
