We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer at our office in Singapore and welcome your application.

Job Description

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software, specialized utility programs, and SCADA SDK plugins
• Build and maintain scalable software solutions, including web applications, Windows-based services, and backend logic using modern frameworks.
• Work closely with engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, defining clear specifications and performance requirements.
• Design and develop interfaces for IoT devices, PLCs, and backend databases, ensuring seamless data flow across protocols like Modbus, MQTT, and SNMP.
• Update software, enhance existing software capabilities, and write clean, sustainable code.
• Develop and direct software testing and validation procedures. Prepare robust project documentation, including software design specifications and operation manuals.
• Handle full-stack deployments (on-premises and remote) and provide high-level diagnostic support to resolve issues.

Requirement

• Proficiency in TypeScript. Familiarity with Python or Java is a strong plus (especially for backend logic and data scripting).
• Strong SQL knowledge (MSSQL/PostgreSQL).
• Ability to design clean, user-friendly interfaces (CSS/Frontend styling).
• Basic knowledge of computer networking, and server resources.
• Familiarity with BMS, PMS, EMS, or SCADA platforms is a significant advantage.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated, independent, and a proactive team player with a strong capacity for self-learning new technologies.
