Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and install large-scale automated freezers, air compressors, and dryers to ensure operational efficiency
Identify, analyze, and repair product failures, ordering and replacing parts as needed to minimize downtime
Perform start-up testing and deliver customer training on product features and general maintenance to enhance user competence
Apply comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s products and services to support technical tasks and customer interactions
Provide on-site installation, repairs, and conduct quality checks to maintain product reliability
Complete clear and accurate documentation promptly to support service records and compliance
Required competencies and certifications
Interpret system components including mechanical, electronic, sensors, motors, power distribution, configurations, and backups to diagnose and resolve issues
Read schematics and assembly drawings to guide installation and repair processes
Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical information and provide training
Manage workload independently with limited supervision while collaborating effectively within a team
Maintain high attention to detail and work diligently under pressure without compromising quality
Manage and meet schedule commitments to ensure timely service delivery
Physically capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects safely
Willingness and flexibility to work additional hours and overtime as required
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent professional experience-based knowledge or certification
Degree in progress or completed is an advantage
Experience in automation or related fields to enhance technical proficiency
Experience working with customers in life science, clinical, or pharmaceutical industries to support specialized service needs
