Overview:

Our Company is currently seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our water engineering team at our project site in Melaka. Our Water Department is growing, and we have exciting projects to engage motivated engineers who enjoy working on a variety of projects on or near the water.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety, with a focus on water resources and environmental management. Our projects have unique designs and provide a diverse array of interesting work to keep our staff challenged and engaged. Our upcoming project portfolio includes jobs dam and we are seeking engineers with an interest and expertise in all aspects of dam construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide safety training and education to employees and contractors on site.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, trainings, and incidents.
• Collaborate with site management and project teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of construction field experience required.
• Yellow Book registration with JKKP (DOSH) is mandatory.
• Familiarity with OSH requirements at construction sites is essential.
• Valid Authorised Entrant and Standby Person for Confined Space (AESP) certification is preferred.
• Valid Authorised Gas Tester and Entry Supervisor (AGT) certification is preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
