The Engineer / Senior Engineer, Design will design and develop efficient, cost-effective chiller plant and airside systems for prospective and ongoing projects. This role works closely with clients, business development, and project teams to deliver sustainable engineering solutions, supports Green Mark certification, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to understand project requirements.
- Design and optimise chiller plant and airside systems for performance, energy efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Evaluate equipment sizing, specifications, and quotations.
- Perform system simulations and analysis to support design recommendations.
- Provide Green Mark consultancy, including gap analysis and sustainability recommendations.
- Prepare and submit applications for authority approvals, certifications, and grants.
- Collaborate with business development, project, service, and software teams to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Possess Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental/Sustainability Engineering, or a related discipline
- Prior experience in designing, building, or operating cooling systems preferred. Open to fresh graduates.
- Relevant certifications (GMAP/GMAAP, SCEM; BCA Registered Energy Auditor) would be advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop effective engineering solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a customer-focused, professional, and data-driven approach
Pay: Up to $5,800.00 per month
