Lapasar Hiring! Full Time Finance Team Lead in Selangor - Ricebowl

Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Team Lead to take ownership of the finance operations for one of Lapasar’s business segments, lead a small team, and make sure things run smoothly day to day.

This is not a traditional back-office finance role. You will own AR and AP end-to-end, work closely with clients and vendors, coordinate with our IT team, and solve operational issues as they come up.

We are not looking for someone who is overly technical or academic in finance. What matters more is that you have solid finance fundamentals, strong common sense, good judgement, ownership, and the ability to get things done independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Own AR and AP end-to-end, including payments, collections, invoicing, reconciliations, and follow-ups.
• Lead a small Finance team of 2–3 people, set priorities, review work, and support their development.
• Work directly with clients and vendors to resolve payment and invoicing issues.
• Communicate and present confidently to clients when needed.
• Coordinate with IT on ordering system issues, support tickets, and ERP integrations.
• Identify problems early and take ownership until they are resolved.
• Manage multiple priorities independently and improve processes where needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Background in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Some team leadership experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, finance systems, and ERP tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Organised, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good judgement, common sense, and a strong sense of ownership.
