Job Description
Responsibilities
- Create shop drawings based on client giveninformation, specifications and calculations. Incorporating all the details inthe drawings
- Make the drawings in keeping with companystandards
- Provide MTO based on drawing details
- Maintain all drawing files, update drawings asneeded, and make corrections to drawings as directed by the Leads.
- Drawing tasks will include but not limited to;development and maintenance of a drawing numbering system, proper control ofrevisions received either from client, regulatory authority or internallygenerated requirement
- Lead piping team in drafting standard
- Explain drawings to production or constructionteams and provide adjustments when necessary
- Liaise with the design specialists on drawings,amendment and re-submission to clients
- Assist in conducting site measurement andinspections
- Attend site and office meetings and prepareprogress reports
- To study project and design basis such as scopeof work, overall project schedule, basic design data, client specification,client standard drawings, existing drawings, and plot plan.
