Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and network topology documentation.
• Perform regular network maintenance, firmware updates, and patch management.
• Collaborate with IT and server teams to ensure seamless system integration and data flow.
• Conduct regular network capacity planning and performance optimization.
• Provide technical support and resolve network-related incidents promptly.
• Maintain disaster recovery and backup plans for network infrastructure.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures accurately.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in network administration or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Mikrotik, Fortinet, or Juniper network devices.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix).
• Familiarity with network security principles, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory is an advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Fortinet NSE are preferred.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,550.65 per month
