Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical and well-organised Associate – Strategic Initiatives join a Single-Family office in Singapore.

The role provides broad exposure to operations and strategic planning, with a long-term pathway towards Family Office management. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and external professional advisers across legal, corporate and other specialist areas, supporting effective governance, strategic projects and helping the office run smoothly as a team.

A significant part of the role involves working with people. Strong communication skills and good judgement in managing relationships are essential.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage and support strategic projects across the family office, from analysis and planning through implementation. Ensure actions and deliverables are completed.

·       Conduct research and analysis on investments, markets, business opportunities and strategic matters.

·       Coordinate between principals with external advisers, banks, lawyers, service providers and other professionals to ensure timely follow through on decisions and deliverables.

·       Support family governance, including facilitating structured discussions between principals and professional advisers to align long term objectives and manage inter-generational priorities.   

·       Research, assess and identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, technology and operational efficiency.

·       Prepare management presentations, including financial information and/or analysis as may be required in connection with entrusted projects and initiatives to support decision-making by senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Business, or a relevant discipline. 
  • A postgraduate qualification in Management, Organisational Behaviour, or a related field may be preferred.
  • Experience in dealings with senior management and across multi-disciplinary professional teams, strategic planning and development.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a highly organised, analytical and people-oriented professional who can support the Family Office in the planning, coordination and execution of strategic initiatives and research-driven projects.

·       Strong analytical and research capabilities, both quantitative and qualitative research methods.

·       Astute in navigating different personalities and competing priorities, with the confidence to manage sensitive relationships diplomatically.

·       Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.

·       A clear and confident communicator and strong presentation skills.

·       Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information professionally.
