Avaloq Test Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end functional and automation testing on the Avaloq platform.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated test packs for Avaloq applications.
• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test data based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression and system testing for Avaloq modules and banking functionalities.
• Support UAT and OAT activities and coordinate with business and technical teams.
• Identify, report, track and retest defects through to closure.
• Take ownership of testing for assigned Avaloq modules and functionalities.
• Work closely with developers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders on application enhancements and defect fixes.
• Manage testing risks, issues and dependencies and escalate where required.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, metrics and project status updates.
• Ensure testing activities are completed according to project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 5-6 years of hands-on Avaloq testing experience within the banking/core banking domain.
• Strong knowledge of Avaloq products, modules and banking functionalities.
• Strong experience in functional and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, test execution, regression testing and defect management.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT and OAT activities.
• Good understanding of core banking processes and systems.
• Experience with test automation and defect/test management tools such as JIRA or equivalent.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: $6,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
