Sinotrans Logistics (M) Hiring! Full Time Procurement Executive in Selangor - Ricebowl

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for warehouse operational requirements.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, evaluate pricing, and negotiate for the best commercial terms.
• Process Purchase Requisitions (PR), prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely processing of procurement requests.
• Prepare and submit Payment Request Forms in accordance with the Company's payment approval policy.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and resolve issues relating to shortages, delays, or quality discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations teams to understand purchasing requirements and ensure continuous supply of operational items.
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers while monitoring supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Work closely with Finance on invoice verification and payment-related matters.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required to communicate with China HQ and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Willing to work at Seksyen 22, Shah Alam.
