Responsibilities
Join our client, an A1 main contractor on a major
semiconductor / high-tech facility project in Singapore
, supporting the delivery of a technically complex and highly coordinated built environment. The role offers exposure to
multidisciplinary architectural coordination, MEP interfaces and specialist works
, making it particularly suitable for candidates with high-tech, industrial or advanced manufacturing project experience.
Your Role
Support the Project Manager in preparing project reports, documentation and design / construction coordination meetings.
Lead and guide a team of Architectural / Design Coordinators in managing architectural works for a technically complex semiconductor / high-tech facility.
Liaise closely with consultants, clients, subcontractors, specialist contractors and suppliers to ensure architectural requirements are properly interpreted and implemented.
Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E, cleanroom, process and other specialist systems, ensuring effective multidisciplinary integration.
Plan, organise and supervise the preparation and submission of construction drawings, shop drawings, material submissions and technical documents.
Review architectural drawings and details to identify design discrepancies, constructability issues and interface clashes before and during construction.
Provide technical support to the site team and resolve architectural and design issues in a timely manner.
Monitor architectural progress and workmanship on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
Conduct site inspections and coordinate with subcontractors to address defects, installation issues and outstanding works.
Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore authority requirements, codes of practice, client specifications and project standards.
The Requirements
Degree in Architecture with at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with a main contractor.
Experience in semiconductor, high-tech, data centre, industrial or advanced manufacturing projects is highly advantageous.
Strong experience in multidisciplinary architectural coordination, construction detailing and technical submissions.
Experience coordinating with MEP and specialist trades in complex building environments.
Good knowledge of Singapore authority requirements and relevant construction standards.
Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
Meticulous, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and technically demanding project environment.
