WSH Coordinator

What You'll Do
Conduct routine workplace inspections and monitor work activities to identify potential safety hazards and unsafe practices.
Assist in conducting and reviewing
Risk Assessments (RA)
and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
Develop, review and implement
Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
for work activities.
Monitor compliance with
Permit-to-Work (PTW)
requirements for applicable high-risk activities.
Monitor
lifting operations and Work at Height (WAH) activities
, ensuring relevant safety requirements and control measures are followed.
Conduct
daily Toolbox Meetings (TBM)
and promote safety awareness among workers.
Conduct safety inductions and orientations for all new personnel.
Assist in planning and conducting
fire drills, emergency response drills and other safety exercises
.
Identify, document and report WSH non-compliances, unsafe conditions and unsafe work practices to the relevant teams and management.
Compile weekly non-compliance findings and submit reports to the Safety Officer, and to present in weekly safety meetings.
Collect and analyse WSH data, observations and findings to support improvements in workplace safety standards.
Work closely with the
FSM, Safety Officer and the Safety Team
to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support initiatives to continuously improve WSH performance across the organisation.
Perform other safety-related or ad-hoc duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Minimum
1–2 years of relevant WSH experience
.
GCE 'O' Level, Nitec or Higher Nitec.
WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) is mandatory.
Practical experience in
Risk Assessment (RA)
and
Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
.
Familiarity with
Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems
and high-risk work activities.
Knowledge of
lifting operations and Work at Height (WAH) safety requirements
.
Manage Work at Height
&
Supervise Safe Lifting Operations
certification is a
must
due to the nature of our business.
Experience in conducting or assisting with
fire drills and emergency response exercises
will be an advantage.
Prior experience in
construction, precast, manufacturing or industrial safety
will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of workplace hazard identification and risk control.
Additional WSH-related certifications or training will be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with workers, supervisors and management.
Proactive, observant and comfortable working
on the ground and engaging directly with workers
