Job Summary

We are looking for a Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth operation of production machinery and facilities. The role involves preventive maintenance, machine breakdown support, equipment calibration, and ensuring a safe and reliable production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and check production machinery according to SOP.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Identify recurring machine problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Conduct regular machine and equipment inspections and update maintenance records.
• Respond to machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Record repair and breakdown activities in the relevant maintenance forms.
• Perform scheduled calibration of equipment such as weighing scales, tunnel ovens, and rack ovens.
• Carry out maintenance and basic electrical repairs at the employee hostel.
• Monitor machine operating time and prepare relevant reports.
• Maintain proper records of tools, spare parts, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure tools and spare parts are properly stored and easily accessible.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.
• Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
• Comply with safety, hygiene, quality, GMP, and 5S requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SKM Level 4 / Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in machine troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of building and facility maintenance is an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Able to complete maintenance forms and records in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willing to work overtime and follow shift duty roster.
• Responsible, hands-on, and able to work independently.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
