Responsibilities
US GAAP
SOX compliance
Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Singapore GST / Corporate Tax
Job scope:
Manage Singapore and Malaysia tax compliance, including GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and statutory reporting.
Oversee GST reporting, compliance initiatives, and process improvements.
Coordinate statutory audits and tax audits, and liaise with tax authorities and external consultants.
Support transfer pricing compliance and regional tax reporting requirements.
Assist with tax and compliance matters for new Southeast Asia business entities.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with tax regulations and strengthen internal controls.
Support ad-hoc finance and compliance projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of finance experience including 5 years specialising in:
Tax compliance
Corporate tax
GST
Statutory audit
Tax governance
Prior experience in an MNC or corporate environment is preferred.
Hands-on experience with US GAAP, SOX compliance, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Proven experience handling IRAS tax audits and regulatory enquiries.
Experience managing multiple legal entities and regional tax compliance is preferred.
