Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
Prepare and process invoices, payments and staff expense claims.
Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end closing.
Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
Assist with GST submissions and other statutory reporting requirements.
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external parties when required.
Assist with annual audit and year-end closing matters.
Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform other accounting-related duties and ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and GST requirements.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines.
Responsible and able to handle confidential financial information.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
