Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-impact transformation initiatives within a leading Financial Banking environment. You will drive end-to-end delivery across complex, cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery, including scope, planning, milestones, resources, and governance.
• Drive execution across multiple workstreams, manage dependencies, and remove delivery blockers.
• Lead RAID management covering risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
• Establish and manage Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches and release planning.
• Engage senior stakeholders and drive alignment across business, technology, operations, risk, and compliance teams.
• Ensure strong project governance, controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee testing, business readiness, go-live, and post-launch activities.
• Track project KPIs, delivery performance, and benefits realisation.

Requirements

• 5–15 years of experience in project/programme or transformation delivery.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes within banking or financial services.
• Strong experience managing complex, multi-team projects and senior stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of governance, risk, controls, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Retail Banking / Wealth Management experience is highly preferred.
• Fluent English required; Cantonese and Mandarin strongly preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
