Job Summary

As a Sales Assistant in the Meat & Seafood Department, you will be the face of freshness and quality. Your role is to ensure that customers receive top-notch service while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, product presentation, and inventory control. You’ll be handling fresh, frozen, and processed meat and seafood products, assisting customers with selections, and supporting daily operations.

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and special requests.
• Product Handling: Prepare, weigh, wrap, and label meat and seafood items accurately.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and display areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory, and report low or expired items.
• Sales Support: Promote special offers, upsell complementary products, and support promotional campaigns.
• Record Keeping: Assist in tracking sales, returns, and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Cold Chain Compliance: Ensure proper storage temperatures and handling procedures are followed at all times.
