Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Associate to assist in audit engagements, perform audit fieldwork, and prepare financial statements while developing expertise in auditing standards and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing audit engagements to support audit team objectives
Perform audit fieldwork and substantive testing to verify financial data accuracy and compliance
Prepare detailed audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation for audit reviews
Compile financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
Manage audit assignments to ensure completion within stipulated deadlines
Communicate professionally with clients to maintain positive working relationships
Adhere to professional auditing standards, internal procedures, and ethical requirements throughout audit processes

Required competencies and certifications

Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Minimum 1 year of audit working experience
Basic knowledge of Singapore Auditing Standards (SSA) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks under pressure
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
