Job Description:
Handle general enquiries regarding shipments, vessel’s ETA and charges.
Conduct targeted conversations with customers to identify customer needs.
Ensure timely dispatch of shipping documents to customers and overseas agents.
Liaise with customers and overseas agent on shipping activities and documentation.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation to comply with customs regulations and international trade requirements.
Familiar with shipping incoterms.
Perform data entry for freight services.
Manage the complete documentation for compliance operations and/or advise clients on tariff/rate/cost/quotation requirements and eligibility.
Communicate and coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of interest within business activities.
Follow operational policies, standards, and procedures.
Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations preferred.
Good understanding of international shipping procedures, documentation, and customs regulations.
Familiarity with shipping Incoterms and freight processes (air/sea freight).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and overseas agents effectively.
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to identify needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Proficient in data entry and comfortable working with logistics or freight management systems.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle operational issues independently.
Team player with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Willingness to take on ad-hoc duties and adapt to operational needs.
