Responsibilities
Job Description
Clean, wash, sweep, mop, dust and vacuum assigned school facilities (e.g. classrooms, offices, multipurpose halls, carpets, windows, walls, furniture, sinks, drinking fountains, etc.) to maintain a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
Clean and sanitise toilet facilities and Nurse Room.
Arrange tables, chairs, desks, etc. to provide adequate preparation for the classroom activities and events.
Empty and clean garbage bins, remove trash, etc. to allocated disposal points.
Respond to immediate safety and / or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Ensure that all chemicals are securely stored away when not in use.
Clean and tidy cleaning materials and equipment storage areas in a clean and tidy condition.
Ensure Supervisor is aware of low stock levels of supplies and equipment (eg cleaning solutions, toiletries, mops, trash bags, etc.).
Inform the Supervisor of any defects found in the areas that the Cleaner is assigned to.
Requirements
Able to work indepently and also in a team
Good time management
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Work Location: 72 Bukit Tinggi Road, Singapore 289760 (shuttle bus service provided from 6th Avenue MRT station)
Working hours: 7.30 am - 5.00 pm OR 8.30 am - 6.00 pm (Monday to Friday)
