Job Description
Responsibilities
Develop end-to-end logistics solutions covering transportation, warehousing, distribution and inventory management.
Analyse customers’ requirements and prepare customised logistics proposals and cost estimates.
Manage daily logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Plan delivery routes, vehicle utilisation, manpower deployment and warehouse capacity.
Monitor logistics costs and implement measures to improve productivity and profitability.
Negotiate and coordinate with transporters, suppliers, freight forwarders and other service providers.
Establish operational procedures and key performance indicators for logistics activities.
Monitor service performance, investigate delays and implement corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with Singapore customs, workplace safety and relevant transportation regulations.
Prepare operational reports, budgets, forecasts and performance presentations for management.
Lead and train logistics coordinators, warehouse personnel and delivery teams.
Identify new technologies and process improvements to support business growth.
