We're looking for an experienced Manager, Production to take ownership of the production process from planning through final delivery. You'll work closely with Creative, Account, and Leadership teams to bring approved ideas to life, while managing timelines, budgets, resources, suppliers, and production partners.

Location & Ways of Working
This role is based in Mont Kiara, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. We work from the office three days a week, with Wednesdays as our common in-office day. The remaining in-office days are decided by your Team Lead or Manager based on the team's schedule and business needs.
We enjoy the flexibility of hybrid work, but we also believe some of the best collaboration and problem-solving happens when people work together.
What You Will Be Doing
Own production from start to finish.
- Turn approved creative ideas into clear production plans, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Manage pre-production, production, post-production, and final delivery.
- Coordinate schedules, crew, locations, equipment, talent, logistics, and other production requirements.
Manage budgets and suppliers.
- Develop and manage production budgets and cost estimates.
- Review quotations, negotiate with suppliers, and track production costs.
- Source and manage suitable production partners based on project requirements, budget, and timeline.
- Build strong relationships with directors, photographers, production companies, studios, editors, animators, freelancers, and vendors.
Keep projects moving.
- Manage production timelines, dependencies, approvals, and deliverables.
- Identify potential risks and production issues early.
- Find practical solutions when timelines, budgets, resources, or requirements change.
- Stay calm under pressure and take ownership when things don't go according to plan.
Work across teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with Creative and Account teams to understand project requirements and approved creative direction.
- Provide production input on feasibility, costs, timelines, and resources.
- Participate in relevant client meetings, production briefings, shoot planning, and production reviews.
- Communicate production requirements, risks, and changes clearly.
Protect the quality of the work.
- Oversee production and post-production outputs to ensure they meet the agreed scope, specifications, quality, and timeline.
- Ensure final deliverables are complete, accurate, technically sound, and aligned with the approved creative direction.
Improve how we work.
- Identify recurring production challenges and improve workflows, processes, templates, and ways of working.
- Help build a more efficient, reliable, and scalable production function at Skribble.
