About the Role
We are looking for a Quality System Engineer to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s quality management systems. In this role, you will coordinate internal audits, management reviews, certification audits, and cross-functional process improvements to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and maintain the company’s quality management system framework.
- Draft, revise, optimize, and control quality system documents, procedures, and records.
- Ensure company operations comply with internal quality requirements and applicable management system standards.
- Plan and coordinate annual internal audits and management reviews.
- Prepare and maintain internal audit reports, management review records, and follow-up action plans.
- Work closely with different departments to establish and improve quality management processes.
- Identify process gaps and support departments in improving process efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate external quality system assessments, customer audits, and third-party certification audits.
- Follow up on audit findings, corrective actions, and closure to maintain the validity of company certifications.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D.
- Promote quality awareness and provide guidance or training on quality system requirements when required.
- Comply with the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and participate in relevant EHS programs and training.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in quality management systems, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with quality system documentation, internal audits, management reviews, corrective actions, and process optimization.
- Experience in implementing or maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Exposure to IATF 16949, AS9100D, or other industry-specific management systems will be an added advantage.
- Quality-related certifications, such as Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification, will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and follow up on improvement actions independently.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
