Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Machine Maintenance
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assembly machines.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Replace worn parts such as screws, pneumatic system, sensor and seals.
Inspect machines regularly to identify wear, damage, or potential failures
Electrical & Controls
Diagnose and repair electrical issues (motors, sensors, wiring).
Maintain PLCs, control panels, and automation systems.
Verify machine controllers and monitoring devices.
PM Care
Clean, lubricate, and store parts properly.
Inspect mechanical part for wear, damage, or alignment issues.
Assist with project team for changeovers and setup.
Auxiliary Equipment
Maintain loaders, robots, sensor and conveyors.
Ensure proper functioning of mechanical & electrical control systems.
Preventive & Predictive Tasks
Schedule and perform routine inspections.
Monitor machine performance and log maintenance activities.
Use non-destructive analysis, thermography, etc. for predictive maintenance.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, or other industry standards.
Record maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage.
Update maintenance logs, checklists, and machine history records.
Provide feedback and improvement suggestions to engineering or management.
Collaboration
Work with production teams to minimize downtime.
Train operators on basic machine care.
Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts and technical support.
Update progress maintenance job with the team.
Safety and Housekeeping
Follow company safety procedures and machine lockout/tag out practices.
Ensure machines and work areas are kept clean and safe (5S).
Job Requirement
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Diploma/Professional Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
Ability to ty to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Have basic computer skills for maintenance records.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing.
Willing to work shifts and respond to urgent maintenance needs outside normal hours.
Hands-on and practical mind set
Good teamwork and communication skills.
