SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement Lead - Procure-to-Pay (PTP)

The SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement Lead will be responsible for the functional leadership and end-to-end delivery of the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) workstream.

The role will oversee the design, configuration, integration, testing and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, including SAP Ariba, Central Procurement or related procurement solutions where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PTP) functional workstream, covering purchase requisitions, purchasing, sourcing, contracts, source determination, goods receipt and invoice verification.
• Leading Fit-to-Standard workshops and ensuring the SAP solution aligns with the Client's procurement policies, approval structures and applicable government procurement requirements.
• Designing procurement processes covering catalogues, suppliers, contracts and guided buying, including SAP Ariba or Central Procurement integration where applicable.
• Defining and governing procurement master data, including materials/services, suppliers, purchasing information records and source lists, as well as supporting data migration, mapping and validation.
• Working with Security and relevant stakeholders to define procurement authorisation, approval workflows and segregation of duties (SoD) across requisition, approval, goods receipt and invoice processes.
• Managing integration between Sourcing & Procurement, Finance/AP and other relevant SAP modules, including Materials Management and Asset Management where applicable.
• Leading System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-to-end procurement scenarios, including three-way matching and approval workflow testing.
• Leading cutover, go-live and hypercare activities for the procurement workstream, including open purchase order and contract migration.
• Providing functional leadership and guidance to the procurement team throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  
  

Minimum SAP Implementation Experience

• 10+ years of SAP MM / Sourcing & Procurement experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Procurement / Procure-to-Pay Lead or equivalent functional leadership role.
• At least two full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations involving Sourcing & Procurement / MM.
• Demonstrable experience leading procurement workstreams across design, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.

Education & Professional Certifications



Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
• SAP certification in Sourcing & Procurement / MM for SAP S/4HANA.
• Demonstrable knowledge or awareness of the SAP Activate methodology.
  
  

Strongly Preferred

• SAP Ariba certification.
• CIPS or equivalent professional procurement qualification.
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, security-awareness certification or equivalent.
