Location: Kuberakshi Cash & Carry, Kulai, Johor

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle daily cashier duties, assist customers, maintain accurate transactions, and support the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.
• Receive cash, debit/credit card, and QR payments.
• Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer customer enquiries.
• Assist customers with product locations and basic product information.
• Replenish shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed.
• Keep the cashier counter and surrounding area clean and organized.
• Assist with stock checking, price tagging, and inventory when required.
• Report any payment discrepancies or system issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other store-related duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Language Requirements

• Tamil language proficiency is strongly preferred, as the role requires regular communication with customers who primarily speak Tamil.
• Candidates who can speak and understand Tamil confidently are highly recommended, regardless of race or ethnicity.
• Bahasa Malaysia and English are an added advantage.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
