About the role

Kerjaya Milenium is seeking a Project Executive to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. As a Project Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing project activities whilst ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets and quality standards. This role is essential to our operations and offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the successful completion of major construction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects from inception to completion
• Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, identifying and reporting any variances
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, drawings, specifications and correspondence
• Support the Project Manager in quality assurance and safety compliance across all project activities
• Track project costs and assist in managing procurement processes and vendor relationships
• Prepare progress reports and project status updates for senior management and clients
• Liaise between office-based teams and on-site personnel to ensure effective communication and problem resolution
• Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and implementing corrective actions as required

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies and industry best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documents
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and compliance requirements is preferred
• Professional certification such as CIDB registration would be advantageous
