Key Account Manager (Trims / Packaging)(Ref# 067765)

Responsibilities

• Selling many items which can dress a garment including – Metal Buttons, Rivets, Polyester Buttons, Zippers, Patches, Labels, Hangtags, Heat Transfer, Packaging, Box, Polybag, Variable data, Care Label, RFID etc. we offer to Dress the Customers Garment encompassing the total concept of Design to Distribution.

• Sell to both large multinationals as well as smaller companies probably making in different parts of the world therefore you will need coordination skills to ensure that all parts of the customers manufacturing plans are achieved.

• Have contacts within the garment producing industry then this would be an advantage.

• Our extensive Hong Kong office/distribution hub is an intricate part of the whole organisation and will assist you in every way with knowledge, supply base, accounting etc.

• Develop a programme of customer visits & assist your customer in producing trims which will ensure that both the customer

Requirement

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• The Key Account Manager would have ideally 5 years top flight sales experience, with a proven track record during this period of time ideally from within the garment or garment trims & variable data business.

• Target many European and USA Brands through their Asia regional offices and to their garment producing factories in these areas also.

• Should be able to communicate both verbally and written in English, Mandarin & Cantonese.

• Must be articulate, personable, with good business sense and a professional approach/ manner to both customers and colleagues alike.

• Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team will be an important factor.

• Attention to detail is very important especially when taking client briefings for design and development work.

• Good organisational and time management skills are also important.

• Meeting sales targets will of course need to take priority and every assistance will be given to you to achieve our overall Group goals.

• Ability to discuss with our customer at varying levels of management any problems which may arise with technical/quality issues or delivery schedule etc.

• Discussing with your immediate manager sales trends which you believe maybe significant for future development of our business.

• Self motivated and show a passion for selling garment trims & variable data throughout the fashion industry.
