Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Product Engineer with semiconductor product engineering experience, preferably with CPU/GPU products or IPs.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze engineering and manufacturing test data with statistics and yield insights.
Analyze yield paretos, deep-dive into yield impactors and identify debug needs and solutions.
Analyze data from silicon and package qualification, identify issues and drive debug/resolution.
Brainstorm yield/qualification fallout items with Test Engineers.
Plan and execute IP and Product Characterization tasks end-to-end.
Work with Test Engineers on characterization test program development.
Perform test program validation, analysis, and debug of characterization test content issues.
Coordinate characterization data collection on typical and corner samples and monitor execution.
Enable sampled data collection on volume samples.
Analyze characterization data and derive insights on product/IP performance and sensitivities across voltage, frequency, temperature, and silicon process.
Prepare detailed characterization reports.
Analyze sensitivities of test conditions and optimize test voltage/frequency.
Work with client system teams to align on VID allocation methodology and ensure product bounding box requirements are met.
Support manufacturing and post-manufacturing product lifecycle activities.
Support manufacturing test and OSAT qualification activities.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
At least 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with CPU/GPU products/IPs.
Experience with test IPs such as Scan, MBIST, Functional, Analog-Mixed Signals, and High-Speed I/O test.
Good understanding of DFT concepts.
Experience with Scan, Ethernet, Fuse, IOSPEC, JTAG, MBIST, DDR, PCIe, PLL, RESET, Ring Oscillator, Static/Dynamic IDD, High Voltage Stress, Thermal, xGMI, and Functional testing.
Experience with qualifying OSAT for manufacturing testing.
Experience with statistical data analysis.
Experience in manufacturing and post-manufacturing product lifecycle support.
Experience with Unix and Windows.
Java, Perl, and Python scripting skills.
Good understanding of digital testing concepts.
Good problem identification, problem definition, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and independent, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as a team player.
Product Engineering Experience
Experience with Yield Analysis using tools such as JMP, SQL, or equivalent.
Experience with parametric analysis and yield enhancement.
Ability to interpret and derive insights from test data.
Experience performing silicon characterization across Process, Voltage, and Temperature.
Experience analyzing characterization and manufacturing data to optimize test voltage/frequency conditions.
Experience with statistical outlier screening, yield and parametric monitoring.
Experience developing characterization test programs.
Advantest 93K ATE experience is a plus.
