What The Role Is
As an Executive Engineer / Engineer, (Modelling and Technology) in the Water Systems Department, Planning & Capability Development Division, you will be part of a team to lead the development of engineering models to plan and guide the design and construction of systems to enhance integrated water resource management and undertake related R&D projects.
What You Will Be Working On
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following areas:
- Manage project cycle that will include project planning, contract administration (including tender calling and awarding) and supervision.
- Ensure timely delivery of key milestones, prepare reports and present recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with internal divisions within PUB, external government agencies, academia, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful execution of project.
- Support documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the project framework
- Any other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Civil/ Environmental Engineering or related fields
- Possess strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualisation tools
- Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and a good team player
- Self-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility
