Business Development & Marketing Intern

About the Role

Inavate APAC is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development & Marketing Intern to support our commercial team in Singapore. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in the full client journey—from researching prospects and supporting business development to coordinating and executing marketing campaigns for global technology brands across the Asia-Pacific region.

You'll work directly with the Business Development Manager and collaborate with our editorial and production teams to ensure every client campaign is delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Research and identify prospective clients across the APAC region.
• Build and maintain prospect databases.
• Assist with outreach campaigns and follow-up communications.
• Prepare sales presentations, proposals and client reports.
• Support sponsorship sales for events, webinars and digital campaigns.

Campaign Management

• Coordinate client campaigns from booking through to completion.
• Liaise with clients to collect artwork, logos, editorial content and marketing assets.
• Coordinate with the editorial, design and production teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule.
• Manage campaign timelines and monitor deadlines.
• Ensure digital banners, newsletters, sponsored articles, videos and print advertisements are executed accurately.
• Prepare campaign reports and performance summaries for clients.
• Handle post-campaign follow-up and maintain client relationships.

Events & Marketing

• Assist in organising Inavate Live events, executive roundtables and the Inavate APAC Awards.
• Support social media and email marketing campaigns.
• Conduct market and competitor research.
• Assist with basic Canva designs and presentation materials.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
• Experience with Canva, digital marketing or CRM software is an advantage.
