Description and Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Wintel Engineer with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure and Windows server environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in AWS, Azure, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms, along with strong troubleshooting and automation capabilities. This role requires both independent execution and effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, manage, and support cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure, including:

  • VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM, Security Groups, and cost optimization strategies.

  • Azure resources such as VMs, storage accounts, networking, and monitoring tools.

  • Administer Windows Server environments (setup, patching, security hardening, backup/recovery, upgrades).

  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, PKI, Microsoft Cluster Services, and IIS.

  • Perform server hardening and monthly/adhoc patching across Windows, Linux platforms.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessment remediation and coordinate Glass Panel (or similar) security reporting.

  • Handle configuration, deployment, and bulk installations of enterprise applications.

  • Coordinate and execute hardware maintenance, including server replacements and upgrades.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain service uptime.

  • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and participate in change/release management.

  • Conduct server health checks, antivirus updates, and contribute to automation initiatives.

  • Support asset inventory management, tagging, and documentation.

  • Prepare system and operational reports using MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Willing to work onsite at customer locations as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Wintel and cloud infrastructure management.

  • Proven hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure

  • Strong understanding of Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and SFTP.

  • Experience working in ITIL-governed environments with structured service management processes.

  • Competent in interpreting and remediating vulnerability assessments and security reports.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex system and service issues.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging vendors, customers, and technical teams.

  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance tracking.

  • Capable of working independently and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Certifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Hybrid Administrator Associate

  • ITIL Foundation
