Responsibilities

• Provide production support for BAU applications and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, applications, and incidents.
• Analyse application logs to identify issues and determine root causes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution to minimise business impact.
• Work with Oracle databases and troubleshoot SQL queries as required.
• Perform SQL query tuning and optimisation to improve performance.
• Develop new SQL queries based on business and operational requirements.
• Work with Java-based applications and support application-related production issues.
• Use UNIX commands to perform operational activities and troubleshoot system issues.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to investigate and resolve production incidents.
• Provide extended support to the team whenever required.
• Follow production support processes and ensure the stability and availability of BAU applications.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of relevant Production/Application Support experience.
• Strong experience in production support and handling BAU applications.
• Good knowledge of Java.
• Strong foundation in Oracle SQL / PL/SQL.
• Experience in SQL troubleshooting, query tuning, and optimisation.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands.
• Strong production incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to analyse application logs and identify production issues.

Good to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience working in an extended/after-hours production support environment.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
