Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Petaling Jaya. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting the expansion of Setia Awan’s property and related business divisions. Day-to-day tasks include market research and analysis, developing and presenting business proposals, negotiating deals with partners and clients, and collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and project teams to drive revenue growth. The role also involves monitoring industry trends, contributing to pricing and positioning strategies, preparing performance reports, and ensuring that business development initiatives align with the company’s long-term strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management skills, with a track record of identifying and closing opportunities.
• Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning within property development, real estate, or related industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Solid project coordination and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in business productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with CRM or sales management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Petaling Jaya and adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
• Knowledge of the Malaysian property market and local regulatory environment is an advantage.
