Xetron Solutions Hiring! Full Time Application Support Engineer in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 3,000 - Ricebowl

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level application support by investigating, troubleshooting, and analyzing reported system issues.
• Respond to and manage reported incidents promptly to ensure timely resolution.
• Liaise with users, call center personnel, and developers to understand, communicate, and resolve application-related issues.
• Perform database-level troubleshooting and analysis using SQL queries.
• Monitor and follow up on reported cases until a satisfactory resolution is achieved.
• Conduct user training and provide guidance to clients during new project or system rollouts.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base based on recurring issues and daily support cases.
• Assist in customizing reports and developing programs for internal business requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in application support, software development, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries and database fundamentals is required.
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions based on available information.
• Knowledge of Oracle 9i, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), Java, VB6, or VB.NET is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with IIS and Web Services is an added advantage.
• Quick learner with the ability to understand new systems and technologies with minimal supervision.
