We are seeking an experienced and reliable Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role will work closely with senior management and provide accurate financial insights to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate must be a highly trustworthy finance professional with strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage finance operations while ensuring financial discipline and accountability across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee daily finance operations, including accounting, reporting, cash flow, and financial controls.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, and performance analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of financial reporting activities.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and business objectives.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor company expenses, cost control initiatives, and budget utilisation.
• Analyse financial trends, profitability, and operational performance.
• Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and business performance.

Accounting Operations & Compliance

• Oversee full spectrum finance functions, including:
• Accounts payable (AP)
• Accounts receivable (AR)
• General ledger (GL)
• Bank reconciliation
• Fixed assets
• Month-end and year-end closing
• Ensure compliance with:
• Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
• Tax regulations
• Audit requirements
• Company policies and procedures
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant stakeholders.

Cash Flow & Financial Controls

• Monitor cash flow position and ensure effective working capital management.
• Review payment approvals and ensure proper financial authorization processes.
• Strengthen internal controls to prevent financial risks and irregularities.
• Ensure proper documentation and governance for financial transactions.

Management Support & Business Partnering

• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to CEO / management.
• Support business expansion plans, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with other departments to improve cost efficiency and financial discipline.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, supervise, and develop finance team members.
• Establish clear processes, accountability, and performance expectations.
• Ensure smooth finance operations and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MIA, CIMA is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of finance/accounting experience, with proven experience in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Cash flow management
• Cost control
• Audit and tax compliance
• Strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Experience managing finance teams and overseeing full finance functions.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Mature and dependable finance professional who can be trusted with sensitive financial information.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable reporting directly to CEO / Directors.
• Experienced in improving finance processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.
• Exposure to fast-growing companies, group structures, or multiple business entities is an advantage.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
