About the Role

At So Drama! Entertainment (SDE), technology enables the way we create, collaborate and connect with our audiences.

We are looking for an experienced and forward-looking Head, Technology and Platform Solutions to shape and lead SDE's technology strategy and capabilities.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will oversee our technology infrastructure and operations, cybersecurity, cloud environment and enterprise applications. You will also partner teams across SDE to provide the technology expertise and foundations that enable our AI, data, digital and media capabilities to grow securely and sustainably.

What You Will Do

• Shape Technology Strategy & Enterprise Architecture – Develop and drive SDE’s technology strategy, roadmap and enterprise architecture in alignment with organisational objectives and future needs. Advise Senior Management on technology opportunities, investments, emerging trends and technology-related risks.
• Lead Digital Transformation & Innovation – Drive digital transformation initiatives that leverage technology, automation, AI and data to improve productivity, organisational effectiveness, user experience and customer engagement. Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to enhance SDE’s creative, operational and commercial capabilities.
• Lead Enterprise Technology Operations – Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, enterprise applications and technology platforms, ensuring they remain secure, reliable, resilient, scalable and fit for purpose.
• Strengthen Cybersecurity, Risk & Resilience – Provide strategic leadership for cybersecurity, information security and technology risk management. Establish appropriate policies, standards and controls, and oversee business continuity, disaster recovery and incident readiness.
• Enable AI, Data & Digital Capabilities – Establish and drive appropriate AI, data and digital governance frameworks to support responsible AI adoption and effective use of organisational data. Oversee data and analytics capabilities that support business planning, product development and decision-making.
• Lead Digital Products, Platforms & Integration – Oversee the design, implementation and optimisation of digital products and platforms, including websites, mobile applications, customer engagement platforms and enterprise solutions. Establish architectural and integration standards to ensure interoperability, scalability and long-term sustainability.
• Enable Media & Production Technology – Partner with business and production teams to provide technology expertise and solutions supporting SDE’s media and production environment, including video and audio production, radio, broadcasting, live streaming, digital asset management and live engagement.
• Partner the Business & Deliver Strategic Programmes – Understand organisational and business needs and translate them into practical, sustainable technology solutions. Lead strategic technology programmes and transformation projects, ensuring effective delivery, stakeholder alignment and realisation of business benefits.
• Manage Technology Investments & Partnerships – Manage technology budgets, procurement, vendors and strategic partnerships, ensuring investments deliver strategic value, cost effectiveness, service quality and appropriate risk management.
• Lead & Develop the Technology Team – Build a high-performing, collaborative, customer-centric and forward-looking Technology and Platform Solutions team. Drive capability development, coaching, succession planning and opportunities for professional growth.
• Champion Technology Culture & External Engagement – Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, security awareness and operational excellence across the organisation. Represent SDE in engagements with technology partners, industry bodies, government agencies and other external stakeholders where required.

What We Are Looking For

You are a technology leader who combines strong technical foundations, strategic thinking, and sound business judgement. You are comfortable engaging senior management, partnering business teams and providing leadership on complex technology matters.

You should bring:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualifications and experience.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to IT operations, infrastructure, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, cybersecurity and technology transformation.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing technology teams.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, information security and technology risk management at an enterprise level.
• Good understanding of modern cloud architecture, applications, infrastructure and data technologies.
• An appreciation of AI and emerging technologies, including their opportunities, risks and governance considerations.
• Experience leading technology projects and managing external vendors and service providers.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technology considerations for different audiences.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting technology-intensive media, content, production or digital environments would be an advantage.
