Big Fat Smile Sdn Bhd is looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant HR Manager to lead our day-to-day HR function and support our growing business. This role is suitable for an HR professional ready to move beyond HR execution into team leadership, management advisory, workforce planning and HR improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead day-to-day HR operations and HR priorities.
• Partner with management on manpower and workforce planning.
• Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding.
• Drive training, employee development and succession planning.
• Lead the performance management process and follow up on performance issues.
• Manage employee relations, grievances and disciplinary cases.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, HRIS, attendance and HR records.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and company policies.
• Analyse HR data and provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Improve HR policies, processes, systems and workflows.
• Advise management on HR and people-related matters.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Broad hands-on exposure across multiple HR functions.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices.
• Experience handling employee relations and disciplinary matters.
• Experience supervising team members or leading HR projects/functions.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced and lean environment.
• HRIS experience.
