Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, configure and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN and network infrastructure.
Manage and troubleshoot network devices, security appliances, load balancers and network services.
Perform Level 2/3 troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution of complex network incidents.
Monitor network performance, availability, capacity and security, and proactively identify potential issues.
Support network infrastructure upgrades, migrations, technology refreshes and improvement initiatives.
Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall configurations and secure connectivity.
Support DNS, DHCP and IP address management across the enterprise environment.
Work closely with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Application and Operations teams on network-related projects and incidents.
Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers for technical escalations and issue resolution.
Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, documentation, SOPs and operational procedures.
Participate in change management, incident management and scheduled maintenance activities.
Ensure network infrastructure adheres to organisational security, resilience, availability and compliance standards.
Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity and infrastructure resilience initiatives where required.

Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years of relevant Network Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
CCNP certification is required.
Strong hands-on experience in Cisco routing and switching.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN and network security.
Hands-on experience with multiple enterprise security and network platforms listed above.
Experience troubleshooting complex network and security issues in business-critical environments.
Strong understanding of network security principles, firewall policies and secure connectivity.
Experience working with cross-functional technology teams and external vendors.
Preferred/ Advantageous
Experience in energy, utilities, financial services or other business-critical environments.
Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools.
Additional vendor certifications in F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point or Infoblox would be advantageous.
