Shape Strategic Investments and Drive Business Value

MISC Group is looking for a highly analytical and commercially driven Manager, Capital Projects to join our Group Strategy & Sustainability division.

In this role, you will play a key part in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial and business analysis, supporting capital project assurance, and driving strategic business improvement initiatives across the Group. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, business units, subsidiaries, and external advisors to deliver meaningful insights that support informed investment and business decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

Investment Analysis & Research

• Conduct market and industry research on potential investment opportunities and corporate projects.
• Assess market outlooks, industry trends, competitive landscapes, and associated risks.
• Monitor market developments and investment trends that could impact strategic decisions.

Financial Modelling & Valuation

• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF valuations.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess business and investment viability.
• Evaluate investment opportunities using various valuation methodologies and financial metrics.

Deal Execution & Strategic Reporting

• Support due diligence activities covering financial, legal, operational, and strategic assessments.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout project execution.
• Prepare board papers, management reports, presentations, and investment documentation.

Value Assurance & Business Improvement

• Support business units in evaluating investment cases for capital projects.
• Contribute to business improvement initiatives through data analysis, benchmarking, and strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate implementation activities, stakeholder engagement, and project tracking.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial advisory, or related fields.
• Experience in financial modelling, valuation, business analysis, and investment evaluation.
• Exposure to due diligence, corporate transactions, and strategic project assessments is highly desirable.
