ROLE:

• Develop and maintain backend libraries and services using Java +17 and Spring Boot 3.
• Architect, design and implement generic mission-critical Java applications meant for industrial automation.
• Participate in technical and functional roadmap definition and releasing of software applications/platform features and related services.
• Apply outstanding software engineering practices. Maintain high standards of design and code quality at all times.
• Apply state-of-the-art automated testing practices (unit, component, integration tests).
• Work on packaging and automated deployment of software.
• Contribute to product innovation ideas, prototypes, functional and design specifications in addition to production software.
• Exposure to microservices architecture will be highly appreciated.
• Apply agile methodologies throughout the development process: challenge and clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery of top-quality features.

PROFILE:

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years experienced as a software engineer with a soundtrack record in Java, with functional or reactive programming is a plus.
• Experienced in AngularJS, Angular18 above, JavaScript, TypeScript, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS.
• Skilled in automated unit and system testing (including performance testing).
• Familiar with the Linux environment, including shell scripting and software packaging.
• Experience with container technologies, like Docker, is a plus.
• Experience with event streaming technologies, such as Apache Kafka is a plus.
• Experience with database replication and synchronization technologies, such as SymmetricDS..
• Experience with relational databases is an advantage (PostgreSQL & Oracle).
• Experience with functional or reactive programming and agile methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with ability to work in a team of diverse skills and within a matrix organization.
• Team player in a multi-cultural working environment with ability to work independently.
• Autonomous, curious, trustworthy and result-oriented.
• Fluent in English.
