Cloud / Senior Cloud Engineer
Location: KL, Malaysia

Job Description
We are looking for a Cloud / Senior Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in cloud operations, infrastructure, troubleshooting, and automation. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining reliable and secure cloud platforms, handling production incidents, and improving cloud operations through automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain production cloud environments to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure and platform issues.
Participate in 24x7 on-call and incident management activities.
Lead high-severity incidents and coordinate with cloud, network, security, and application teams.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Manage operational changes in line with security and change management processes.
Automate operational tasks and improve monitoring, alerting, self-healing, and deployment processes.
Maintain runbooks, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
Support cloud security, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and audit activities.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Required Skills
3–6 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP in production environments.
Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
Strong troubleshooting skills using logs, metrics, monitoring, and alerts.
Good understanding of cloud networking, security, and IAM.
Experience working with hybrid or multi-cloud environments is preferred.
Experience with ITSM, incident management, change management, and on-call operations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have
Experience handling major/high-severity production incidents.
Knowledge of automation, self-healing, and monitoring tools.
Experience in telecom or other mission-critical production environments.
Experience with cloud security and compliance.
