About the role

Support an ERP transformation project for a renowned electricity company in Hong Kong as a System Engineer (System Analyst). You will work across project planning, business analysis, system testing, and operational coordination to ensure successful implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support project planning, progress tracking, issue follow-up and risk escalation for the ERP transformation project.

• Act as a business analyst to understand payment and credit control operations, review business processes and support implementation of system changes.

• Conduct and support SIT, UAT, ORT and related testing activities, including test execution, result validation, defect follow-up and progress reporting.

• Coordinate key project activities, including Train-the-Trainer sessions, phased data migration, cutover preparation and business readiness activities.

• Liaise with consultants, IT teams, business users and operation teams to follow up open items and ensure timely resolution.

• Prepare project updates, action logs, issue/risk registers and meeting materials for management review.

• Support validation of data migration outputs, training materials and operational procedures to ensure smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.

• Perform other ad-hoc project and operational duties as assigned.

About you

• Diploma or degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Project Management or related discipline is desirable.

• At least 3 years' relevant experience in project coordination, business analysis, operations support, billing, credit management, payment operations or customer operations.

• Hands-on experience in system testing, including SIT, UAT or defect follow-up, is preferred.

• Good understanding of payment, credit control, billing or customer operation processes would be an advantage.

• Previous experience in Oracle and/or SAP, ERP implementation, data migration or process improvement projects is preferred.

• Well-organised, detail-minded, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.

• Strong sense of ownership, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure in a challenging project environment.
