Security Engineer – Firewall

Job Summary:

We’re Seeking Security Engineer – Firewall to support our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Experience in creating security design documents, implementation/change management plans, migration plans, or optimization reports.
• Strong hands-on experience in design and/or implementation of at least one:

o Firewall

o Identity & Access Security

o Email Security

o Web Security / Proxy

o Cloud Security

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and security protocols, including TCP/IP, encryption, application, network & link-layer protocols.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience across L1–L7.
• Good technical documentation and communication skills, including MS Word-based design and implementation documents.
• Willingness to work across different time zones and weekends, when required.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Cisco Security products.
• Programming experience with Python and APIs.

Education & Certifications

• CCNA / CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.
